Transnational organized crime has become one of the greatest threats to security globally and Grenada is no exception. Criminal networks, of which human traffickers are a part, are continuously diversifying and expanding their activities. Coupled with Grenada's geographic location and porous borders, it is difficult to stem these criminal activities. A technical assistance was requested to enhance Grenada's efforts for a standardized approach on counter-trafficking, as to make officials alert on indicators to identify victims and to improve institutional responses and coordination during investigations and victim support.
